Day 5 Paying attention to small things

indigo glass mug
its shadows
ringed in blue
cast a blue demi-moon
flat against white page
words yearn to touch its face.

  1. I enjoy most anything with the moon. Is it just me or does the moon look a bit off the last couple of nights…sort of like a tear drop with the top leaning towards the right? I like that we can imagine The Man In the Moon’s face, or even see a Rabbit sometimes, or even pretend the Moon is a She.

    • I think there is a strong connection with the moon, and I too believe it is a feminine persona, despite the Man. I believe this is especially true for women. After all, if the moon controls the ocean tides, why not the ebb and flow that women experience through their own cycles? I have not noticed her the last few nights, but she does change her look often. C
